Here are some easy and delicious recipes for Thanksgiving from great chefs.

Drinks and Treats

bc-pumpkin-nog Creamy Pumpkin Egg Nog

What do you do when you have leftover pumpkin puree? You either make Pumpkin Spice Pancakes, Pumpkin Hot Chocolate or if you have some egg nog leftover you make this drink! I would call this a smoothie, but it’s so sweet and delicious I’d rather call it a treat. Remember the trick to the perfect chilled smoothie is to use frozen bananas. But if you don’t have any frozen add some ice cubes.
Creamy Pumpkin Egg Nog So Delicious Coconut Milk Nog, rice milk, pumpkin puree, frozen banana and protein powder for extra staying power.

Another great recipe for leftover pumpkin after Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.

The perfect way to use up that pumpkin is to make this sweet and warming drink.

Most of this ingredients you probably have around the kitchen already, so whip it up this evening!

Soups

One of my favorite things to make with my Vita-mix is blended soups. Whether they are all raw or uses cooked veggies, blended soups makes me feel nice and cozy. They are also so quick to make! If it’s a raw soup and you have a high speed blender it literally takes a few seconds to roughly chop the veggies/fruit, then you blend and you are eating within five minutes. If it’s a cooked soup, it takes a few minutes to prep the veggies (they don’t have to be cut uniformly since they are being blended up), cook them, and blend.
