Soups! Creamy, Thick & Satisfying Soups that Fill You Up Without Increasing Your Waistline, Raising Your Blood Sugar or Cholesterol Levels, or Compromising Your Ethics

For less than the price of a few cans of processed organic soup, you can have my collection of the best comfort soup recipes you’ll ever taste.

And they’re easy to make, too!

From: Joanna Slodownik

Everybody loves a warm tasty soup, especially on a cold day.

It’s hard not to love them – they are easy to make – so even the most inexperienced cooks can easily learn to make them – and yet, with a few simple ingredients, they can be made into sophisticated dishes to impress your family and friends.

Plus, eating vegetable soups is actually considered one of the best solutions (right after vegetable salads) to thinner waistlines and improved immunity and health.

Many vitamins and minerals are water soluble, and a significant percentage of these nutrients can be lost through conventional cooking methods. But when you cook a soup, most nutrients and minerals are kept in the broth.

That’s why Dr. Joel Fuhrman, M.D., my favorite doctor and author of the “Eat to Live” and “Super Immunity”, considers vegetable soups (along with salads), to be the basis of a nutrient dense, healthy diet.

Yes, you should eat a lot of raw foods – including drinking lots of green smoothies that I love and highly recommend, because many nutrients are destroyed by cooking. But some nutrients are actually more absorbable after cooking, especially if you don’t throw away the cooking water.

So if you’re going to cook anything at all, you better make it a soup!

Vegetable soups are low in calories and high in nutrients! If you’re trying to lose weight and can’t be satisfied eating just salads, then I encourage you to include some healthy vegetable soups in your diet.

The problem with most canned soups is that they are:

  • Full of oil
  • Full of salt, in fact shockingly full
  • Full of dangerous preservatives and chemicals
  • Not made with organic ingredients
  • Often not as tasty as advertised!

But are organic soups any better?

Just taking a look at the label of some of the organic soups in the supermarket, you will discover that these soups still contain lots of sodium and fat.

So what’s the solution here?

If you want to eat healthy vegetable soups, and if you want your family to eat them, you need to make these delicious soups at home and them taste good and be HEALTHY.

I’m talking about soups that are made with whole food ingredients only, and don’t contain any added fats or dairy.

If you’re looking for some tasty healthy soups, you’re in for a surprise.

As a home chef, one of my favorite things to make is vegetable soups.

Over the past couple of years, I’ve created a unique recipe book containing my top favorite soups… all original recipes that you will love.

And since I’m not of the opinion that “more is better,” I’ve mostly kept in this collection my favorite recipes, the ones that you’ll end up making over and over again!

Save Money with Homemade Vegetable Soups

You can make most soups with simple ingredients that are easy to find in your local grocery store, health food store, or farmer’s market.

A batch of homemade soup costs a fraction of the price of the same soup bought at a restaurant… and is infinitely healthier too!

Even when compared to the price of organic canned soups, these recipes are much cheaper to make, especially if you buy things like onions, carrots and celery in bulk.

Save Time In The Kitchen

Make a big batch of vegetable soup at least once a week on a night off or on the weekend. You’ll save leftovers for other meals, or can freeze the rest for later! Overall, you’ll spend very little time cooking these new recipes and enjoy many, delicious meals.

If you’re looking for something to take to work or a light dinner, just reheat one of these soups and you have a delicious low fat vegan meal at your fingertips.

Boost Your Health and Immunity With a Daily Vegetable Soup

It’s easy to lose weight while eating vegetable soups. That’s why Dr. Fuhrman, M.D., recommends them so much. My soups have plenty of nutrient dense vegetables, mushrooms and legumes that will keep you full and satisfied. These soups will help you lose weight and get more variety of healthful foods into your diet that can otherwise be hard to get out of a simple salad.

Why Is this Collection of Soups Different From All Other Recipe Books?

If you’re wondering what make the soups in this collection different than those you could find in any other recipe book, consider the following:

  • Rich, Creamy Soups without Guilt – Low in fat, low in cholesterol (or cholesterol free), low in sodium. I teach you techniques to create super rich and luscious soups that are sure to impress your friends and family, without the added fat and cholesterol. If you are on a diet, there is no need to deny yourself these comforting creamy soups, if you use the ingredients that are healthy and perfect for weight loss.
  • Immunity Boosting, Cholesterol-Lowering and Anti-Inflammatory Benefits – These soups are chock full of healthy ingredients, that have been proven to posses immunity-boosting, cholesterol-lowering and anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Plant Based– All of the recipes in this book are plant based to help you get more variety of vegetables into your diet.
  • Low Fat– These soups are based on water or vegetable broth and do not contain overly fatty ingredients. The only fat comes from the occasional use of almond, cashew or coconut milk to add a little bit of creaminess to some of the blended soup recipes.
  • Can Be Made with Vegetable Stock or Just Water -No time to cook homemade stock, and don’t want to spend money on store-bought? I give you easy techniques to make delicious soup with just water.
  • No Oil – These soup recipes contain no oils. I’ll show you how to cook without oil and sauté your onions in vegetable broth instead to cut the fat.
  • Mostly Gluten Free – The majority of these recipes are gluten free and the few that have pasta or flour you can either omit or switch for a gluten free brown rice pasta or gluten free ingredient of choice.
  • Mostly Soy Free– Some people are allergic to soy or choose to avoid it. Some recipes that use soy also provide easy ways to substitute with other ingredients.
  • Low In Sodium – Did your doctor tell you to reduce salt in your food to help bring that blood pressure down? I teach you techniques to reduce the amount of salt in your food without compromising on the taste. You can also omit the salt completely or just sprinkle a little bit of salt in your soup at the table.

Soups! Creamy, Thick & Satisfying Soups that Fill You Up Without Increasing Your Waistline, Raising Your Blood Sugar or Cholesterol Levels, or Compromising Your Ethics

Soup is a great standby that’s easy to prepare, inexpensive, nourishing and satisfying. By learning the recipes in this book you’ll be able to create your own healthful, delicious and easy-on-your-waistline soups like a pro–including those creamy creations that look like they’ve been made by a seasoned chef and contain a thousand calories per serving.

Your family and friends will be impressed by your skills, even those who are hard to please. What’s important, you’ll have full control over what goes into your body. I’m always shocked to see what ingredients you can find in pre-made canned soups: high-fructose corn syrup, unhealthy fats, excessive amounts of salt, and all kinds of cryptic ingredients with names that are impossible to pronounce.

The rich, creamy soups are especially guilty. With all the cream, butter, and flour that goes into them, the caloric content goes through the roof ….and ends up around your waist!

The Truth about Omega 3 and Fish: What Your Doctor or Dietitian Never Told You About Eating Seafood & Fish Oil Supplements

This is not a scientific or medical report, but I guarantee you that if you take the time to read it, you will learn some invaluable, possibly life changing, information. I tried to keep it as brief and to the point as possible, but I also wanted to include as much facts as possible.

But let me explain…
